The Darkness Deepens

$550.00

8” x 8” / oil on panel / framed

One evening during a quiet drive in late December I decided to stop to look out over the Narragansett Bay from our town beach. It was an inky dark night, the distant shoreline punctuated by pinpoints of lights from houses. There was also a glow over the horizon over Providence in the distance. I felt all alone and yet the lights connected me to the thousands of people all around the state. There is something so moving about recognizing that we are all a small part, an important part, of a much larger world.
